Thieves 03:46
Isolated, with hard skin A touch that leads to judgement Shame and thirst, unlock the reasons From inside our walls There is no sign You can reach it, all within your mind No honor with thieves Without a sound to breathe in Floating desire Drawn to the pyre With all their filth Stealing what they will This is all that I've got left Walking on waves of sadness My body and soul Have run their course To the right state of form Mending, proving, I am now! Floating desire Drawn to the pyre With all their filth Stealing what they will No one shall come to find this part A chain that beats me down Where are you/Where are you My echo is none but few My body and soul Have run their course To the right state of form Mending, proving, I am now! Where are you/Where are you My echo is none but few Where are you...

Despair is my middle name I have only my self to blame A work in progress Mechanical numbness Write the pain in your blood Another good chance for some We can't besmirch you We can destroy you I am overcome with these feelings I can't shake the fever out The life that owes me A syndrome of deceivers What a way to end a life I stare at the ruins of hope With a light that blinds a ghost A rolling tide So long as its justified In your cold calculated heart Endorsed by a fatal art A spark in my hands Withered out like the sand I am overcome with these feelings I can't shake the fever out The life that owes me A syndrome of deceivers What a way to end a life NOW! I am overcome with these feelings I can't shake the fever out The life that owes me A syndrome of deceivers What a way to end a life I am overcome with these fevers I can't shake the syndrome out I'll come home a believer What a way to end a life

Seeding fast, a lonely street Wait to find your enemy The world is now, turning fast Another brain shot through this mess Your father's brave insanity Comes to be, reality Words escape all I know To leave you in the falling snow Slipped the vice Your life-force slips away Howling for a dead eternity Drag the line far behind You'll never send me down To distract them with their lies Why was I blind? Drag the line far behind You'll never send me down Through all my grey skies Still dressed in ice Colors never meant to be Forked in reality So to shake this world I know Where will we go? Come try to end it all Just end my life If time would just flow by Like a stream, like a dream This is the fire to inspire Like a hero I return Spread my wings to evoke the collusion now Reverse the silence take me higher I revived my piece of mind let the truth be your guide All my life, everything I am Is dressed in ice! Drag the line far behind You'll never send me down To distract them with their lies Why was I blind? Drag the line far behind You'll never send me down Through all my grey skies Still dressed in ice Seeding fast, a lonely street Wait to find your enemy The world is now, turning fast Another brain shot through this mess Your father's brave insanity Comes to be, reality Words escape all I know To leave you in the falling snow All my life, everything I am Is dressed in ice!

I Don't Wanna be I Don't Wanna be me I Don't Wanna be me anymore Ever throwing at his home Two glass houses, twenty stones Fourteen yellow, six are blue Could it be worse.....quite doubtful I Don't Wanna be I Don't Wanna be me I Don't Wanna be me anymore I Don't Wanna be I Don't Wanna be me I Don't Wanna be me anymore Two steps forward, three steps back Without warning, heart attack He fell asleep in the snow Never woke up, died alone I Don't Wanna be I Don't Wanna be me I Don't Wanna be me anymore I Don't Wanna be I Don't Wanna be me I Don't Wanna be me anymore Please don't dress in black When you're at his wake Don't go there to mourn But to celebrate

Descent 04:35
Falling victim from neglect Designed thoughts and intellect Forgotten and displaced The crux of my dismay I feel nothing I am nothing I feel nothing Nothing How deep I descend? Until I reach my end? How deep I descend? Deeper into this abyss Weighted down and sinking fast Life did not offer me More than false destiny I feel nothing I am nothing I feel nothing Nothing How deep I descend? Until I reach my end? How deep I secend? I am nothing I feel nothing I am nothing I feel nothing Nothing Nothing... How deep I descend? Until I reach my end? How deep I descend?

about

We’ll try to keep this short (yea, right!).

“The Mixtape EP”.

Our debut release is OUT NOW via Spotify, iTunes, and even BandCamp! This EP is a compilation of three different recording and production sessions the band went through over the course of last year and at the beginning of this year.

“Thieves”, “The Fever Syndrome”, and “Dressed In Ice (Feat. Jake E. of Amaranthe)” are all original MD songs mixed and mastered by the powerful Thomas “Plec” Johansson (Scar Symmetry, Watain, Solution .45) at The Panic Room studio in Skövde, Sweden. These mixes will also serve as the precursor for our debut LP.

“I Don’t Wanna Be Me” is a cover tribute to Peter Steele and the members of Type O Negative. It was mixed, produced, and mastered by Daniel Antonsson (Soilwork, Dark Tranquillity, Dimension Zero) at Gothenburg Rock Studio in Göteborg, Sweden.

The final track on the EP, “Descent”, is another cover tribute of who we consider the pioneers of modern metal, Fear Factory. It was mixed and engineered by Nicholas Ziros (Meridian Dawn, Into The Moat, Remembering Never) and mastered by Jeff Cloyes (311, Lauren Hill, Plies) at JamPro Music Factory located in Reno, Nevada USA.

The cover art was created by our brother Gustavo Sazes (Morbid Angel, Arch Enemy, James LaBrie) with concept assistance from Mr. Hämäläinen.

Some of us in the band are old enough to remember mixtapes. For those who don’t, they were awesome. Making your own “greatest hits” to somehow indoctrinate your pals into liking a band as much as you do!

So here you go, a nice mix to get everyone through the waiting of our label negotiations for our first full length. We have spoken to A LOT of labels and everyone we have worked with so far has been overwhelmingly positive and helpful.

We had a lot of fun putting this together and you can expect more surprise releases like this from us in the future!

Cheers for now, remember to stay tuned in! 5 jokers called Meridian Dawn #themixtape #thefeversyndrome #thewaitisoverfornow
